something more.

Okay I guess I never really tell story bout how Wonderfully Made started, when, where, why etc etc..

So here's how!:)

May sound silly, but this business was actually a dream of mine, and I'd assumed it'll never happen,so I never take it seriously.

Until one day I got so bored during the long uni holiday and found out about craft supplies accidentally.
So bought few charms and chains, and started to make for my friends their birthday gift.
(I used plier-the one for toilet pipes, since I got no equipment at all.)
And since that day,I got more ideas on make few bracelets for myself,so I bought more from another bulk supplier. And bought more and more.
Bought the right equipments.Bought the right materials after few mistakes done.

I bought too much that I started to think, why not try to sell them out?Maybe someone will buy it,and even if no one buys,at least I've tried!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So Wonderfully Made is officially started when a guy bought from me for his girlfriend.(Thanks a million!:) ).I still remember the feeling of first time selling something made by myself,a mixture of feeling excited, happy, and sleeplessness. And satisfied finally.

Oh and before that,Wonderfully Made, this name is based on a Bible verse
Psalm 139:14

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well."

Reason?
Simply because I believe that everyone is made wonderfully by God Himself, everyone of us is different, and that's what so unique bout each one of us :)!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Something more ?

Yes. I've developed a habit of giving what I earned, since the day God let me felt the need of doing so. It's never much of what I can give, but I trust that it does make a little difference,a little impact to other people's lives.

I'm really blessed and fortunate to own whatever I truly need, and sometimes getting what I want. And when I think of people, esp a child not even having a meal to eat,a blanket to sleep, clean water to drink, I learn to give more willingly and am still learning to do so.(sometimes the greediness stop me from giving willingly, wanting more for myself.)

And guess what?sometimes I will worry about not having enough financially, but honestly,I'm not short of money(unless I spend recklessly) or any other things I need.I believe it's God's blessings :)!

So this is the reason why part of the profit from Wonderfully Made will goes to other people in need. A way of mine to remind myself to be grateful.
And dreaming of more people are moved to give something to people in need.

will update with where the profit went and how it helped!

xoxo,
Vee
